WEARE

One of the best pop-ups/launches/grand openings/venues I’ve ever seen.

Collegium is one of those brands that has a hometown warmth to it yet never lost that with all of the growth that it experienced. Following Collegium for some time, a couple years to be exact, I never expected it to turn out like this. As a little kid I saw it as fake Jordans (clown on my part). Now more knowledgable on materials and how the industry operates in general, I know respect Collegium more than ever. A new take on a classic shape. With the materials that that classic shape deserves.

Going to their Arts District grand opening, I was greeted by everything I would want in a business. Huge warehouse, carefully sourced decoration, big yellow container housing a cafe (love symbiotic brands/businesses). Also all the M’s were hellaa cool. Needed some E92s in there for sure though. Aside from that, the event was lively and bustling. All sorts of people came together, and honestly, most were just hanging around and talking to new people. I love that. The ambiguity of the space really allows for a wide range of things to do without any real pressure. Everything just felt natural.
